With growing levels of pollution in and around Cape Town, the need arises to address this issue through an exciting and engaging campaign aimed at getting school children to recycle. The idea was to host a recycling challenge in the Khayelitsha area where litter not only posed as a health risk but a serious hazard to children playing along nearby rivers. Using incentive-based rewards in the form of educational school trips, primary school children are encouraged to get involved in an inter-school recycling challenge.
